I used to be this die hard fan of Renault Pulse. Honestly, having been bought up in UK, I used to have no idea of how it would look in reality. The wooing advert made me think it's fantastic seeing the stop-start button, fuel efficiency and in-class performance.
But the way it looked on roads gave me the feel of staring at a Tata Nano. It was clearly disappointing and i would never invest on such cars whose exteriors aren't any great.
So why is this strange difference, why do you want to elude us into a worthless purchase. Cars aren't phones for most family.Its rarely a thing of material value for a family. Most Indian families have some attachments, sentiment and love for the car. So it would be worthwhile selling cars which are good in appearance and powerful in performance.

Not-so-impressive interiors and exteriors is one important thing we must undo in this journey of Car Building.

Why you should build and export cars? (an Automobile economist in me speaks)

I am not just broad minded. My mind is diversified like our Indian tradition, culture and languages. I tend to begin research on Hedge Funds, then my attention gradually tilts to investment banking and it finally ends up with automobile. Being a knowledgeable person in various fields which is both my '+' and '-' ( because this provoked me to build a bike, ship, ferry and most crazily, a flying car in the time i was preparing myself to build. )

If you are sailing the same ship as me, then start to declare details of your project into milestones or statuses on your social media. Because, your friends would take time to remind you of things you are designated to do in your lifetime. They are always peaceful putting oil to the house on fire.

Today, i couldn't stop admiring the new Vespa, but this constant back up support of People on Facebook, Linkedin enquiring how far my project is made me shut my eye and wonder what the difference between a car and a bike would be?
Is my automobile business a way to get the ruppee value up, i wondered.
Wait, i am an amateur economist. I wasn't meant to work for Indian economy having completed my year 1 in British lands.
"Stop importing cars. Instead export them." said my heart.
I wondered why there were too many brands like Hero Honda, Bajaj Alliance, Ford Ikon, Hummer? Are they all going to fetch any revenue to the Soil.
My heart began to bleed because i am an automobile iconist, i was wondering if it is relatively easy to break up ties with foreign or imported cars.
More than the import of gold and crude oil. My economist mind traced out cars :O

Chennai and Manchester Car Builders - A story

After meeting my Aunt in oldham, i decided to build a car by myself.
Wait i wasn't impressed by the way she drove her Audi.I was actually impressed.But what impressed me was the story she narrated.Her husband who i am unfortunately not going to meet built a car with a car kit and got  it licensed. She recounts on how she feared taking a ride in that car, laughing leaving me close to tears. It didn't take much time to make up my mind because i had a never ending love for cars ever since i was born. Just that my mom had forbidden me from taking up automobile industry saying it is not suitable for girls. I had to end up with a Business school. This only intensified my spirits to sell cars that are built in an effective way, that would fit both pockets, garages and our mindsets. Cars Cars Cars.
My passion for them was not the only thing that was instrumental in this mission. My dad who happens to be a business man today was educated to be a mechanical engineer. His role in helping me glide over this dream is immense.
In the coming weeks I will be blogging intense information of what factors one must consider before beginning their dream of building a car.
One must consider building their car or starting their career from scratch.
